Is this based on my own lecture?
Yes. Octo creates practice questions from the material you add. After your first quiz, you review the concepts you missed, then try different follow-up questions.
What can I upload?
PDFs, PowerPoint (.pptx), Word (.docx), text and Markdown files, CSVs, photos, and scanned pages. Older .ppt and .doc files need to be exported first. Questions are based on readable text; diagrams and complex formulas may need your own notes.
Can I check where an answer came from?
Explanations include an excerpt from your material so you can check the source. You can also flag a question that doesn’t look right.
When can I download Octo?
The iPhone app is in development. The App Store link will be available here when it launches.
